The Morehead Speed Works Team captured an impressive victory at the birthplace of American Endurance Racing, taking P1 in class (GTO) and P1 overall in Sunday’s 7-hour endurance race at Sebring International Raceway.
After a challenging start to the 8-hour race on Saturday, where fuel pressure and fuel pump issues took the #291 Ginetta out of contention, the MSW crew worked tirelessly to diagnose, repair, and prepare the car. Their dedication paid off, delivering a fast, reliable, and competitive machine that carried the team to the top step of the podium on Sunday.
Several MSW-prepared cars also delivered standout performances throughout the weekend. The Rebel Racing GP2 E46 330ci earned a win in Saturday’s race, followed by a P3 finish on Sunday, securing the GP2 East Coast Championship in the process. The HK Motorsports GP1 E46 M3 showcased strong consistency as well, finishing P3 on Saturday and P4 on Sunday, finishing the year with a solid P3 result in the GP1 Eastern Championship and rounding out a successful showing for MSW-built entries across multiple classes.
It was an exceptional weekend at Sebring, thanks to a tremendous team effort that produced strong results and valuable momentum heading into the World Racing League season finale at Circuit of the Americas in just a few weeks. The team looks forward to carrying this momentum into the 2026 season, as Morehead Speed Works continues to grow and operate from our new facility in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
