This December marks 10 years of Morehead Speed Works.
With our move to a new and improved shop in Kannapolis, North Carolina just around the corner, what better time to reflect on the road that led us here. What began as an idea in Eddy Morehead’s backyard shed grew into our current shop space in Lexington, South Carolina. Today, we’re grateful to have outgrown even that space.
Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of building, supporting, and campaigning some exceptional race cars at tracks throughout the country; and none of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of our customers, partners, friends, and family. Your belief in us fueled every late night in the shop, every race weekend, and every milestone along the way.
That support has carried Morehead Speed Works into paddocks across the country over the last 10 years. From our beginnings in Spec E46, to AER, WRL, and beyond, chances are you’ve seen a car running MSW parts, sporting our stickers, or receiving our support at the track. Whether we’re building, wrenching, engineering, or over the wall, our focus has always been the same: helping racers go faster, go farther, and finish stronger.
Ten years in, we’re just getting started. With a new shop, new opportunities, and the same passion that started it all, we’re ready to carry this momentum forward into the next decade, and beyond.
