These brake backing plates allow for attaching a standard 3″ brake duct hose (sold separately) to direct cooling air to the center of the rotor.
This cooling reduces the chance of boiled brake fluid and pad fade. It also increases the life of your rotors and pads.
Made from stainless steel and powder coated black.
Easy install does not require removal of the hub, but will require removal of the stock backing plates.
Note on Z4 Fitment: A slight modification needs to be made for one bolt hole. This hole will need to be drilled for a perfect fit as one hole will be approximately 1/8″ out of alignment. Once this hole is made, the fit is otherwise ideal.
Applications: All Non-M E46 and E85/86 Z4.
