These reinforcements are made of thicker 11ga steel plate when compared to other options on the market. We also maximized the welded area to the front subframe engine mounting location. We also worked on opening up the lower access hole for better clearance to a standard wall socket to ease engine mount installation.
If you plan to run solid or stiff engine mounts, these are an absolute necessity. We recommend them for all track or race E46s.
