For use when removing the Exhaust Gas Return Valve from the head of your M52TU, M54 or S54 powered race car. Not for street use.

High quality blocking plate kit that includes the following:
- Aluminum Blocking Plate / Cover
- Gasket
- 2x M6 Studs
- 2x M6 copper plated nuts
Removal of the EGR and Secondary air pump is only possible on cars tuned for use in motorsports applications.
NOTE: This EGR block-off plate is strictly for off-road use on race or track-only cars. It shall not be used in vehicles driven on public streets. Proof of installation on a Race/Track-Only application may be required. We will not provide any support for use of this part in a street-car application and doing so will void any warranty.
Compatible with all M52TU, M54 and S54 engines. Not for use on street driven vehicles, race/track only.
Hardware and gasket are produced in Europe, plate is made in the Carolinas.
- Remove the Secondary Air Valve from the right front of the cylinder head. It is held in place with two M6 nuts, so a 10mm socket is used. The original studs may back of the head at this point, no issue as we provide new studs in the kit
NOTE: The SAP valve is vacuum actuated, the thin rubber line connected to the valve goes around the back of the head to a solenoid attached to the intake manifold. The solenoid should also be removed at this time and the line that connects it to the intake manifold should also be removed and the remaining port should be capped to avoid a vacuum leak. - Clean any remaining gasket material away from the mating surfaces.
- Remove the original studs (they can be left in place if they are in good condition.
- Install the new supplied gasket over the studs.
- Install the block off plate over the gasket.
- Install the supplied locking copper plated nuts, torque to 89in-lbs.
