Uses the standard PT-100 temp sensor, mounted into the oil pan using the included MSW oil temperature adapter, which replaces your standard oil level sensor (some engines have a simple cover plate.)
Taking temps at the sump means getting as accurate as possible temp of your oil right after it has lubricated rod and main bearings.
Comes with two 719 to 719 patch cables, so one will remain on the engine should you need to perform an engine removal.
