Updated Version 2 (11/2019): The fuel level sender now uses the 5v reference from your AiM logger for better accuracy.
Now you can accurately measure the amount of fuel in the tank on your dual-pump equipped E36 or E46, and easily display and log that information on an AiM logger.
Your OEM fuel gauge will no-longer work properly once you install an anti-fuel starvation kit. Adding a second pump to the left side of your E36/46’s tank will give highly erroneous readings. Don’t get caught out on track without enough fuel, or slow your qualifying times by carrying too much fuel, or even get disqualified by coming in underweight.
This kit is also compatible with stock style singular fuel pump setups where you no longer have a stock fuel gauge or have modified your fuel level sensor(s) in such a way that the readings are now erroneous.
The MSW Fuel Level Kit is simple to install with a little wiring. Once installed, you follow our included instructions to calibrate your sensors (each car is a little bit different) to get accurate readings from 0 gallons to full.
This kit interfaces with your AiM logger and includes the needed patch cable, wiring, and connectors for a complete install.
Note: our Kit uses a custom made interface module designed to work with two BMW OEM pumps found in E36s and E46s outfitted with a fuel starvation pump kit (left side pump.) This kit has been tested on E36 M3s, E36 325is, E46 330s, and E46 M3s.
