Motul Break-In Oil 10W40

Motul Break-In Engine Oil has a high ZDDP fortified formula provides fast and safe mating of piston rings and cylinder liners while providing supreme protection for high-lift camshafts and flat-tappets.

Its unique additive combination makes it fully compatible with wet-clutches and integrated gearboxes in Motorcycles, ATV/ UTVs, SXS, etc

Key Characteristics and Product features:

• Balanced friction modifiers to enhance break-in efficiency.
• Increased level of ZDDP (Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate) reinforces cam lobes, flat tappet and rockers protection.
• Shear stable Viscosity Index modifier to maintain the optimum lubricating film and ring seal in hot running engines.
• Balanced detergent/dispersant levels to ensure fast breaking-in but still prevents deposits formation
• Two-levels of extreme pressure additives for protection of high lift cams, with or without roller bearings.

Recommendations:

• Break-In and running intervals: refer to your component manufacturers’ recommendations, which normally include operating the engine under variable load and RPMs (up to 75% load) avoiding excesive idling (to prevent glazing from happening). Change oil according to recommended running intervals which range between 100 to 1000 miles and up to 50 hours, depending on engine type and component materials. This product can be mixed with synthetic or mineral lubricants.
