CFD developed, hand made, all carbon fiber uprights and element. This wing and uprights package was developed specifically for the BMW E46 M3.
The lightweight, strong, and extremely aerodynamic uprights place the wing far back on the car. This helps to minimize drag, while maximizing downforce. High angles of attack are no longer needed, meaning less tradeoff to drag on long straights.
Airfoil Element Overview:
Klaus Composites V1 GT is a high-camber single element, constant cross-section wing element designed for use on 250-500 horsepower GT cars with moderate front aerodynamic modifications. Its thickness and rounded leading edge make it exceptionally tunable, able to run at a wide range of attack angles with minimal drag.

3-piece, sparless all-carbon fiber construction keeps assembled element weight below 8 lbs. The integrated gurney boosts downforce with minimal drag impact, while bonded anodized aluminum uprights eliminate the need for bulky rivets, further reducing drag. The primary seam between the upper and lower skins is placed below the wing’s leading-edge centerline and is reinforced by a longitudinal bonded splice for maximum durability. UV-stable, flexible, high-gloss urethane clear coat resists chipping and cracking, is easy to clean, and provides long-lasting oxidation protection even when exposed to harsh sunlight.
