MXP offers 50% more display area than the 5” MXS display, in a similar dimension. The dash logger has an integrated shift array, configurable multicolor alarms, drag and drop multi page configuration, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, GPS Module, inertial platform, analog and digital inputs, digital outputs, Motorsport connectors, 4 GB of internal memory, 1,000Hz per channel sampling and support for over 1,000 ECU connections.
Eight analog input channels can sample, log, and display a wide range of temperatures, pressures, or potentiometers (throttle position, steering position, etc). A CAN input allows you to further expand the dash by adding an almost limitless number of AiM CAN Data Hubs (sold separately). These hubs let you connect other inputs such as Lambda (O2), SmartyCam, or even channel expansion hubs, without using any analog channels! The MXG can also be connected to many different ECUs to log any data gathered by the ECU. An internal 3-axis g-force sensor, internal gyroscope, GPS08 module, 4 wheel speed channels, a lap time receiver input, and 2 digital outputs round out the package. It all adds up to a flexible, expandable data logger that can grow with you.
Freely configurable pages, you can define all the custom pages you wish, choosing among a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and measure units. Swapping between pages can be managed pushing one or two pushbuttons.
MXP features five configurable RGB alarm LEDs: you choose the conditions, you choose the colors. Select a solid alarm or flashing one – and the flashing frequency, choose to have an accompanying text message, and set the alarm priorities. Furthermore you can select the street icons you need among the wide list you will find in “Race Studio 3 – Icons Management” and set them up the way you prefer or according with your needs. Any of them is fully configurable and if this shouldn’t be enough, you will be able to upload and set up your own customized icons.
The 4GB non-volatile memory can store many hours of information for detailed analysis using AiM’s latest Race Studio 3 software. All of the data can be downloaded to your computer using a built-in secure Wi-Fi connection (no cable required). Requires 9 – 15V external power supply.
Kit includes MXP data logging display, wiring harness with 37 pin Deutsch connector, GPS08 GPS antenna module, and Race Studio 3 software. All sensors sold separately.
Note: Analog channels 5-8, Speed inputs 2-4, digital outputs, and RS232 ECU connection require the addition of the AiM MXG Auxiliary Wiring Harness with 22-Pin Deutsch Connector, Part No. MC-249 (sold separately).
